Scope: Project consists of two sites. To the north, two residential towers have a total of 181 affordable apartments with approximately 187,000 square feet of residential space. On the South site, a 12-story residential tower with 133 affordable apartments and approximately 133,000 square feet of residential space sits on top of a community facility.
Project challenges/Solutions offered: We were honored to have the chance to collaborate with Dattner Architects and L+M Development to bring affordable housing to the Bronx. For this project we provided a variety of contemporary, urban materials and installation products to achieve optimal performance and style, while meeting project budget requirements. On site A to the north, the taller tower features a roof-top agricultural farm. The mixed-use base consists of approximately 71,000 square feet of ambulatory care and commercial space.
